Patients are desperately seeking solutions for chronic Lupus symptoms. Please donate to The Sharing Mymee Lupus Fund - enabling all patients, regardless of income, to get the support they need.
A pioneering digital care program that uses symptom tracking, powerful data analytics & certified health coaches to empower those who suffer from autoimmune diseases like RA, Psoriasis & Lupus to reclaim their health.
Our story is your story.
We understand how exhausting it is to search for answers and hit a wall. We know because we’ve been there. In 2011, our founder, Mette Dyhrberg, was able to eliminate her symptoms and reclaim her health, after suffering from six different autoimmune diagnoses. Mymee was created to systemize her approach and to empower others to do the same.
How It Works
Mymee’s program includes a personalized mobile app, proprietary data analytics and a certified Mymee health coach, who provides ongoing support from day one. Our goal is to find the correlations between your triggers and spikes in symptoms, and guide the practical adjustments you need to navigate around them on your path to better health. Mymee is built to be simple, just for you.
What Is Lupus?
Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), a systemic autoimmune disease with no known cure, remains poorly understood and patients suffer from many gaps in care. Recent work has suggested that dietary and other lifestyle factors play an important role in triggering and propagating SLE in some susceptible individuals.
How Can Mymee Help - Clinical Validation
Methods: In this randomized controlled pilot study, adults with SLE were assigned to a 16-week digital therapeutic intervention plus usual care or usual care alone. Primary outcome measures were changes from baseline to 16 weeks on 3 validated health-related quality of life (HRQoL) tools: Functional Assessment of Chronic Illness Therapy-Fatigue (FACIT-F), Brief Pain Inventory-Short Form (BPI-SF), and Lupus Quality of Life (LupusQoL).
Conclusion: Patients achieved significantly greater improvement than the control group. A digital therapeutic intervention that pairs self-tracking with telehealth coaching to identify and remove dietary, environmental, and lifestyle symptom triggers resulted in statistically significant, clinically meaningful improvements in HRQoL when added to usual care in patients with SLE.
How The Funds are Used and Processed?
- Financial assistance for uninsurable healthcare costs - These funds are used to help pay for non-insured and uninsurable healthcare options. Matching funds do not replace insurance, medicare or any federal benefit.
- Financial Burden is Shared - The cost is shared by the ecosystem of practitioners, patients and passionate individual and corporate donors. Patients Receive a 45% Matching Grant, The Practitioners contribute 10+% and the Patient pays 45%. Patients set up their own campaign to raise funds to cover their costs.
Controlled disbursements and Audited Results - Matching Grants are available to patients once their own campaigns are closed. eFundYourHeath provides up to a 45% grant directly to the debit card. The Grants are available to the patient up to the Cap. Any additional grants available once the clinic invoices are paid, will be added to the patients medical debit card which is provided to them directly after their campaign is closed. The Cap can be anywhere between $250 - $2,500 depending on the availability of grants from the Fund. All debit card and Fund expenditures are audited by eFundYourHealth quarterly to ensure they meet the 501(c)3 IRS and State Charity requirements.
