I am asking for help- for the first time in my life, because my health condition is becoming more severe and it's causing a lot of fear and depression. I've held off long enough, but it's time. I want to get ahead of this before it gets worse, lands me in the hospital, or even takes my life. I am hopeful to work with Dane Johnson of Crohns/Colitis Lifestyle due to his incredible success stories! Honestly, seeing his journey over the years has been the ONE thing to get me through the hardest of times. I'd like to be able to raise up to 3k in order to gain lifetime access into the program and to help pay for any necessary testing.

I was diagnosed in 2016 after a traumatic event with IBD/UC (inflammatory bowel disease/ulcerative colitis). After hearing the Dr. answer my question, 'Shoud I change my diet or anything?' with, 'There's no reason to change what you're eating, food has nothing to do with this.', I decided to take matters into my own hands and try to find a stable and balanced path through my own exceptional research and self-educatory abilities. I was very successful for the next few years in managing and staving off flare-ups. I did this by trial and error with food, turning everything into a smoothie, journaling daily, and relying on supplements.

Then, Covid-19 happened. We moved 3 times, lost a few of our pets, and have experienced general life stressors. The stress and initial fear of what was happening sent my system into a tailspin and since 2020, I've been bouncing from one severe flare up to the next, with very little time of homeostasis in between. What is a flare-up? The worst of it is *losing blood* with every bowel movement due to ulcerations that form on the large intestine. It creates horrible pain that makes me feel like I'm going to pass out. I must be near a restroom at all times due to painful urgencies, and mucosal build up. I feel like I got punched in the solar plexus constantly, and have ZERO energy to do amost anything outside of daily necessities. Sometimes it gets to the point where I feel like fainting when I stand up and I have to be aware of my heart rate getting too high. The loss of blood is my main concern.

Ultimately- my quality of life has greatly been reduced, and this can't continue since I must also be a mother to my 12 year old. I find myself in bed for hours and hours almost everyday. It's causing undue strain on my partner to pick up the slack, and stealing my energy in ways that feel like a literal curse. I NEED HELP, and I am relying on outside sources this time. I believe I can heal from this, and I don't want to wait until it's too late. Thank you.
